Website Changelog

  • [2026-08-31] Some changes and refinements to the fonts being used. Arimo is no longer included as an unnecessary backup, and IBM Plex Mono is included as the monospace font of choice.
  • [2026-08-31] Finally get off my lazy butt and put an RSS indicator/link next to the main blog listing on the front page, and change those titles around in different, subtler ways.
  • [??????????] Added a new background end effects to the website, changed the fonts, and added a bunch of new sections, and then never acknowledged it here. Oops. Seems to have been 2026-02-28 through 2026-03-13 or so.
  • [2026-02-21] Experimental stacked paper effect. Looks kinda cool. This has resulted in the internal microblog page becoming somewhat plainer, but I think this is fine. The microblog now has an individual stylesheet.
  • [2026-02-21] Continued work on microblog, leading to RSS dating changes. Internally, the date format is now a pre-formatted timestamp including timezone. I’m 99% sure it’s portable. Links to the blog posts have had all dates except the year stripped. The site’s RSS feeds are now discoverable in the main template.
  • [2026-02-20] RSS feed added to the new microblog. The microblog now has ID anchored sections so specific posts can be linked to. RSS feed under /blog/rss.xml also tweaked slightly.
  • [2026-02-16] Updated about and links sections. Wrote this changelog page. Replaced the old bsky feed with an in-site microblog. Many thanks to my friend Eir for helping me figure out the CSS nightmare.
  • [2026-02-15] Changed website to use custom font and occasional notebook theming.
  • [2025-01-05] Bluesky feed was broken, it’s gone now. TODO: Add dedicated changelog page.
  • [2025-03-26] Full rework in progress using new tools.
  • [2024-11-05] add bluesky feed and style everything nicer
