2026-02-19 22:47:00 MST	I've decided to have the script save a copy of the posts.txt I store on the website locally for safekeeping. It's messy, but it'll work for now. My ssg build script pulls from the server to synchronize locally before building, so nothing is cudgeled.

2026-02-21 11:29:52 MST	It occurred to me, rather abruptly, that timezones might be an issue. I'd been lazily generating text according to my current locale, which is not portable. Changing timezones would change the output fundamentally. So, my "dashdate" format I made for the blog now includes timezones, and this microblog uses dashdates instead of epoch timestamps.
2026-02-21 18:36:35 MST	Non-technical post: <i>Haste: Broken Worlds</i> is a fantastic game. I love games that make you go fast, and the modern-roguelike styling is also great. Very fun with friends too. Might put together a review of some sort.
2026-02-27 19:00:56 MST	"The books are better than the movies" is a tired old take by now I know, but having watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix the other day really impressed on me how true it is again. I'd forgotten just how much the movies need to cut out to fit the story in under the time limit.

If you're interested in idle-incremental games and also enjoy fun programmimg challenges, I can't recommend it enough. It's begun to open up now and it's starting to get dangerously interesting.
2026-07-02 23:45:11 MDT	Finished Deltarune Ch.5 today. I won't talk about it in detail here, not yet at least, but it was an absolutely fantastic time. I loved all the characters so much, and I'm sure the final boss theme will be stuck in my head for ages. Now to enjoy the Deltarot until Chapter 6 releases.

2026-08-14 23:02:24 MDT	Something I really love about Big Walk is the moments when I'm separated from the group. In a game about being together with friends, the moments you're completely alone in the woods are uniquely impactful. It's the moments when I'm without a radio, with no idea where my friends are, trying to make my way to a place where I can signal my location, that I feel like I truly understand what the game is about.
